I am definitely avoiding my lesson plans. Senior block is a pain, but my first observation went great. I love the school that I am at and my coop teacher :D

I'm going to Philly next week and I can't wait. I am so excited to meet all the people at the summit and then to enjoy the weekend with Brian. I love the northeast!

things have been so rough lately, i havent even seen frog :) anyways, inductions went perfect, We had more than 100 members become inducted and there was roughly about close to 300 people there. We collected over 450 cans and it was a success! I am so excited to be a part of something so big. NOW, today is splash and it looks like it going to rain and i hope it doesnt but we shall see.
Last night we went to chilis and it was superfun, but on the way back the birds had a shit party on the car so we had to go wipe it off. We ended up in a car wash and we couldnt stop laughing :D
I also have been doing good in school, in our thailand presentation we were the only group to get the full points and in my history paper i recieved a B which i am so happy for considering he is a beast at grading. I took a midterm yesterday which didnt go so well. Actually i feel i did good but i thought the test was going to be so much easier. He made it seem like a piece of cake and i thought it was a lot of work. But either way i did my best. we shall see.
Now that im done with test i have to start writting my papers which is going to be so painful. This weekend i am hoping to get A LOT done but we shall see. :( i am also doing habitat for humanities. its my first time but im excited because ive always wanted to be a part of that :) |

My thailand presentation went well. I figured everyones was reading of their groups slides but i still knew my stuff and i wasnt nervous just jittery to get 20 minutes to present. Our group had the most activities/information which was AMAZING. She told us she really liked ours and im happy for that :)but our group really bonded yesterday and they were such awesome people to work with.
I have inductions today, and im freaking out because i have to speak in a mic, and i hate mics. but other than that i am super excited to see our event unfold. |

my midterm went well as an end result. I started my essay first and i was going slow, but i was happy because i was including everything i had too. By the time he called 30 minutes left i started freaking out because i was still on my essay and there was only ONE freakin sheet of paper left in my blue book. How was that possible if i had a whole other section to start. I started rushing, my handwritting got huge and scribbly and then he said 15 mins. I finished my essay which took all 4 sheets, back and front of the blue book and started doing my id terms on the blue cover :) I wrote everything i could and so far i am content with what i have but i know if i had more time my id's would be better. But the essay is worth 70% of the midterm..
I flyered around school, and came home and had the biggest migraine so i took a nap. I headed to the babies house and visited gio who had surgery. I took shelly to walgreens for his prescription and i am so excited because she said her doctor said the baby is due any day now.
i really really miss sabs during the week but school is so hectic and tomorrow is going to be the best and worst day ever. I am going to freak out at inductions when i have to go up and speak in the microphone. But i am excited because i have worked so hard for this moment. Anyhow, If youre free stop by the GC ballrooms at 7PM for the ceremony. NSCS MEMBERS ARE GETTING INDUCTED.

Today marks the first day of cold weather in miami for this year. I am so happy you have no idea. i love this weather!!
Well this semester is freakin crazy. I am in school everyday, all day :) I like my classes. I am not fond of esol, but i love dr cramer. shes so awesome and i think this is something i want to do for the rest of my life. I also love my field school, Mrs. Lopez makes me going useful :)
I was working at the begining of the school year but i had to quit because of school, or else id have no time for studying. Ive been crazy involved and i think i just did too much at once. (ie) i started working, i had two leadership positions in honor societies, and i was doing full time.
Sfea, and nscs are wonderful. I love the people i have met through them the days we have spent arguing over what type of food to get for an event and being showered with love ahah from indra. I spent some of the summer in kentucky with the girls preparing for this year and next year its philly and i cant wait. I also think i am running for president next year because i know i cant do it. I just dont want it to get to my head and put off school.
This past weekend, i went to horror nights and it was the best stress reliever of life. I screamed so much, even if i saw those bitches coming at me i would still scream. It was so hot up there but it was well worth it. we had the time of our lives.
I have been going shopping like crazy. i think that when i become a teacher my salary will go into shopping. I noticed that all the money i made is just for shopping. In the past month i have spent like 250 dollars on clothes from so many places. I even went with sabrina to freakin shop for her cousin and ended up spending so much at macys and american eagle. we had so much fun in the dressing rooms, we packed it up with clothes.
I have a midterm today that im not stressing about but i should. i hate american history but i love this professor. I feel i am so prepared but that i should be studying way more. I hope i do good because i hate this feeling. When i tried studying for this test i realized i knew everything by memory and that never happens with a test. all i had to do was remember the exact days of the events but as far as knowing who what when and where, i remember and thats crazy! hopefully i can get an A
I am also really hoping i can spend some of christmas in new york. I love that city and i hope i can, plus i really want to see picky and be with my freaking tripod. Sabrina said the other day she forgets me and brian were a couple. and i said to her is it because youre part of our relationship. and she said yes. and its so funny because we are inseperable with the things we do and we are always together. I love her sooo much you have no idea. I can not wait for the future, i know that her and brian are someone i will always, and i mean ALWAYS have in my life and if i didnt id die. I know that i dont need 50 best friends but i know i need two and one who is the most amazing boyfriend :o)
Now i am looking forward to the end of the semester, a good midterm today, a good trip this winter break and enjoying life with the best people in the world. <3 |

Hey guys,
There is a club that has recently started at FIU called SFEA. It stands for Student Florida Education Association Honor Society.
Yes, it is an honor society but it is specifically designed around the multiple intelligence theory, meaning that anyone can exceed in some type of performance.
This is a brand new organization hoping to expand at FIU in Fall of 2006. We are hoping to gain members and support an educational honor society by volunteering and making awareness to the society.
The clubs first meeting will be held this THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 14,2006 at 7:00 P. M in ZEB 330.
P.S. :There are still leadership positions available but you need to attend the first meeting to be considered. |

so i finally got around to the new york pictures!
us three had a blast, i met the garcia's, saw new york, went to a show, many museums, saw snow, saw new jersey, saw king kong, empire state, jekyll and hyde, time square, shopping, chinatown, upper west side, subway, bus strike, AND WE LOVED IT ALLL!!!
The pictures are a mess but they make sense to me :)
